About This Product

Unlike vitamin C derivatives, L-Ascorbic Acid is the direct form of Vitamin C used by the skin, meaning it does not need to be converted before becoming active. Because of this, it is considered the most effective form for delivering visible skin benefits, especially in the areas of brightness, texture, skin firmness and overall skin clarity. With regular usage, complexion will appear brighter, more even-toned, and more radiant. Fine lines and signs of aging will be diminished. Elasticity and firmness will increase.

When combined with Vitamin E, its antioxidant activity is enhanced, helping the skin better defend against environmental stressors that contribute to visible aging over time.

How To Use

Use following cleanser, toner, and corrective serums, and before applying sunscreen and makeup. 

Frequency: Once daily - AM. Start every other day and build up to daily usage.

Method: Use fingertips to apply a dime-sized amount to entire face. May also be used on neck and décolleté. Allow to dry before applying sunscreen and makeup.

 Pro tips: Can be used alone or as a follow-on booster to one of Vivant’s targeted corrective serums. 

If the goal is brightening, use following application of 8% or 15% Mandelic Acid 3-in-1 Serum or Hydrinity Vivid Serum.

Key Ingredients

  • Ascorbic Acid: A form of Vitamin C rich in anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Helps prevent photo-aging, protects against UV radiation, stimulates collagen production, improves elasticity, and lightens skin tone.
  • Tocopheryl Acetate: Known as vitamin E acetate, it is an oil soluble antioxidant providing protection against the sun’s ultraviolet rays.
  • Citric Acid: This antioxidant Alpha Hydroxy Acid regulates pH, encourages collagen production, softens skin and aids in moisture retention.
  • Lactic Acid: Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from fermented milk. Gentler than other AHAs. Exfoliates dead skin, encourages cell renewal, aids in regulating pH and acts as moisture binder.
  • Urea: Promotes rehydration in skin.
  • Glycine: A naturally occurring amino acid and a basic building block of proteins.
  • Niacinamide: A water-soluble form of Vitamin B with firming effect and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Inositol: Part of the Vitamin B family. Provides maintenance to the cell membrane.
